Protecting the environment in which we live and operate is a key element of our commitment to the values and principles of corporate social responsibility. At G T S we take environmental issues fully into account in our corporate activities and strive to reduce our environmental impact wherever possible.
We are committed to responsible environmental management in all our activities and take practical steps to reduce our operational impactand sustainably use natural resources as follows:
- We have submitted an ISO FILE Protocol for the implementation of an Environmental Management System, which complies with the International ISO Standard
- We strive to minimize our contribution to soil, air and water pollution by seeking to minimize waste generation and managing our waste in a responsible manner.
- We seek the most efficient use of materials, resources and utilities, including water and electricity.
- We take environmental aspects into account when designing and implementing corporate processes.
- We provide training to our executives and cultivate a corporate culture of respect for the environment.
- We regularly communicate our environmental performance to our executives and other important stakeholders.
We are also committed to:
- compliance with current European and national environmental legislation and other compliance obligations that govern our operation and
- continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System through the systematic review of its effectiveness in achieving the objectives Our policy shapes the framework for establishing and revising our objectives and goals in the field of environmental management.
